Hello all! I live in Washington state, right on the coast. I love the entire subject of astronomy so when I found out about SETI I knew I had to be a part of it. While my degree is in business science has always fascinated me. Most of my tv watching is science or history related. Another hobby I enjoy, besides learning, is the online game Everquest. I am a long time player and spend a lot of my free time there. Well, here's to seeing what all we can learn from the skies! Good luck to all.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think SETI is a wonderful tool for learning more about our universe. I personally run SETI because I am awed by the amazing diversity of our universe and I want to be a part of any new discoveries that SETI may be a part of.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
