I'm a nerdy, geeky gal from Metrowest MA. I've been part of Seti since 2000 and love doing this work for the organization.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope we aren't the only living sentient beings in the universe.
I think the government might have proof of life (of some sort) on other planets but we (the public) may never know.
Unfortunately, I think if we were visited but aliens the government would blow them up (or at least attempt to) before they'd had a chance to impart anything upon us, good or evil.
I run SETI@home because I prefer to do something constructive with my down time on my computer. I'd love to have more updates and project goal info.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
