Personal background
I am an electronics / software engineer, working on an occupational safety testing system for a company in Western Australia. Hey, even aliens have to earn a living!

So why is my profile against Singapore? I was working in Singapore in 2000 when a colleague introduced me to SETI - woo-hoo, maybe I can ring home!

I have been breeding with an Earth woman. Married for over 13 years, my wife has produced two daughters, born early 1992 and late 1993.

Some might consider me a religious fruit-cake, and most "religious" people have difficulty with my beliefs - I am rather a radical.

I enjoy walking, hiking and outdoor activities. I love star-gazing; oh, how I long to go home. I love reading, watching good movies, reading a good book. I am right into conspiracy and control theories and books, TV shows and movies that refer to these. Hey, what do you think our SETI units REALLY are??
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Is there intelligent life out there in the universe? I hope so. I haven't encountered much here on earth, but I will be leaving soon...

Why are we so niave as to think that what we consider to display intelligence will be recognised as such by others. As a corollary, what make us think that we would recognise intelligence embedded by some alien (in manner and origin) transmission? Hey, it takes me a lot of effort to understand a lot of (purportedly intelligent) human communications.

But don't fuss over my thoughts - I am only visiting this planet and am scheduled to leave it in the not too distant future. However, I hope to make an impact on it before I go.
