South Lakes Music Promotions is a club which aims to bring the best of live, contemporary folk music to Ulverston, South Cumbria, UK, Planet Earth.
A group of local enthusiasts have pooled their energies to bring live music to the area. Nick, Phil, Jack, Jekyll and John want to increase the opportunities for local people to hear and see the best of established and up and coming talent that the Universe has to offer in the contemporary folk field.
The gang want to be the first to book extra-terrestrial traditional artists particularly if they are able to play semi-acoustically within the audible human range. |

| Here at South Lakes Music Promotions we believe that extra-terrestrial life definitely exists. We want to be the first to book ET for a gig and put Ulverston firmly on the map for something other than Stan Laurel or pole vaulting. |
