Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) Yes, Its my belief that extraterrestrial life does exsist. The fact of Humans discovering it? What if "IT" discovers us? the universe is so enormous, any possibility is totally up in the air. "When & How " is totally for one to guess. thats somethign I dont believe one can put a finger on. Will it happen? yes, i do believe so. Now or a thousand years from now, no ones to say... I believe there are MANY upon MANY benefits in the discovery of extraterrestrial lifefroms. Dangers? yes, possibly... iam sure THEY are thinking the same thing that us as humans are thinking.. whats out there and how can we find it... will we benefit from it... one can contemplate endlessly on that subject.
2.)Transmitting a beacon... yes, that would probally be helpfull in the hunt for extraterrestrial life. on the information, not so much as in the way of info. just a signal, a signal promoting we are looking, we are searching, but we do it in PEACE and in EDUCATION...
3.)I beleive the S.E.T.I. program is very helpfull in the race for finding other lifeforms in our universe. my veiws, I loe the project and I wish them the best of luck. hopefully alot more personall will be educated and informed about the S.E.T.I. Project. suggestion, you guys are taking care of business, KEEP IT UP!!!
