Hi, I'm THE NERDIX, a 25 years old Italian boy.
I live in Turin, a "not-so-big" (pop. 900k) city in the North-West of Italy.
I've liked space adventures and science fiction since I was a child. Now I'm very interested in everithing related to space exploration and discovery of extra terrestrial lifeforms. So, I decided to help the SETI project with my CPU time immediately after I've heard something about it.
I'm actually working for a TV graphics company and studying Communication Science at Turin University.

I really hope we're not alone. Universe is so big that our little minds can't even imagine what it may hide. I think that projects like the SETI one should be encouraged by governments, and that the discovery of an alien civilization would be an extraordinary progress for mankind knowledge. But we shouldn't only search, we have to be visible, in case of someone out there is looking for us.
I know that in the past a very strong signal was sent to space from our planet. This experiment shouldn't be left alone, we must let other civilizations to know that we want to communicate with them and that we come in peace. |
