Personal background
My Name is Francis Lim. I had been staying in this Mother Earth for 18 years since 1983. Lonely of course in the 'sole' living planet in the universe. I had always been interested in the studies of heavenly bodies and even had an ambition of being some expert in it. Most of these thinknings were put on hold due to parental disaagreement.
I am now studying Networking in the local Polytechnic. I aim to get the Cisco CCNA and CCNP certifications and work for SETI.(If I had any Chance.) At last I have a chance to make myself useful by installing the SETI@home to help the experts in researching other life forms.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
[b]I strongly agree the existance of Extraterrestrial life. I felt that they had already get to know about us and in the stage of studying us. Our language. The benefits of the discovery is the technological interraction can be made between us and the extraterrestrial life. So we could exchange the technology. The feared dangers are if the extraterrestrial life were hostile.
[b]Humans should transmit beacons that contain the information of the earth and also the humanity milestones and culture informations. It is for others to find and also for us to find too. If this beacon to be survive for next thousand years generations down would had forgetten what we were. From the beacons they found can tell them how the culture of us were like and as like how we know of the ancient human beings.
