Personal background
Where to start... hmmm... well i'm a 19 year old student from Narangba in Queensland, Australia. As a side from my love of science, I love music and sport... especially soccer (Football for all those who insist on the correct name).

In my spare time, I referee soccer with Soccer Australia Referees Brisbane (SARB) running around the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane. I am also a Breakfast Announcer on 4OUR (Caboolture Community Radio - http://www.cth.com.au/4our).

I'm a part of Team Queensland (Quick Sticks... Everybody convert now... I mean it ).

Cheers!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course ET life exsists (well maybe), If it does exist, I think we will discover it within the next 10 years or so. Like most things, when we make the discovery, it must be treated with respect... There is no point rushing in until we actually know something about what we are getting into.

I'm running SETI@home from home so I can do my bit towards improving humanity (OK, maybe to get my name in the lights). I think that projects like this and others that would improve life or teach us something should be government funded.
