Personal background
I am a 26 year old pharmacist in Bochum, Germany.
Well, I'm very interested in theories about our universe and a great fan of Steven Hawking. I love his books, they're really fascinating !!
My other passion ist dancing. Much of my (too little) spare time I spend on training with my partner, or watching other dancers. It's just the perfecht symbiosis between sports and art.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Almost my whole life I am fascinated by our universe and the possibility that we might share it with many other creatures however they might appear.
I definitely believe in the existance of ET. In my opinion it is not possible for the earth to be the only planet that brought up life. Why should a great universe like our's create life and then just use such a small part of it for a complicated project like that?
I'm sure that we will once have contact to different civilizations, but why didn't we already have contact?
Might it be, that we are not far enough in our development? I could really imagine a directive kind of "No contact to pre-warp civilizations"... Maybe electromagnetic signals are not state of the art anymore?
But perhaps we are just too far away from each others?
Another theory might be, that there already was some kind of contact, and someone or some organization keeps this as a secret, for whatever his or their reason might be. Who knows ???
