Profile: Kelly Crumpley

Personal background
I live on the Delmarva peninsula on the east coast of the States. My wife is the computer geek that set the program up on our old G3 and later, on our newer eMac on OSX. People we know with PC's that tried out the Seti on that platform were very envious of our unit processing speed on the Mac.

We are musicians with day jobs and enjoy Irish music, old time & folk.

We go to County Kerry, Ireland as often as we can. The Dingle peninsula is our other home, where our hearts are.

We are glad you use Seti, too. It is a wonderful thing. We left the flying toasters behind years ago and never looked back.

Kelly

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Mankind believes this right down to the cellular level. We may never overtly know, however, we continue seeking.
2. A beacon might not be necessary. We will be detected, or have been, because we are here. And we ARE noisy, as it is!
3. We love the power of computing in a community.
