Personal background
I would gladly tell you all about me... if I knew. Alas, my nature eludes me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Q: Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
A: Without proof either way, thinking extraterrestrial life exists or does not exist is assinine.

Q: If so, when and how will humans discover it?
A: Sorry, I'm not allowed to use my omnipotence in this manner. (It's for your own good, the whole paradox thing...)

Q: What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
A: Benefits?
Killer alien techno toys that make me all gooey inside.
Dangers?
Killer alien techno toys that make me all gooey inside.

Q: Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
A: The data required for an accurate response to this question is unavailable to me. Presently, I'm refusing to whore myself to inaccuracy.

Q: Why do you run SETI@home?
A: It's a nearly effortless way to delude myself into thinking I'm doing something worthwhile. Also, it's my one thing this year I'm going to do to be like all of you.

Q: What are your views about the project?
A: Overall, I find the idea of SETI to be Noble, Inspiring, and Downright Beautiful. The quest for truth in objective reality both torments and liberates me. It makes me feel less lonely knowing others share this obsession. For that, I thank you.

Q: Any suggestions?
A: Yes, find me an alien quick. I wish to leave this planet immediately.
