Profile: Dr. Philip J. Naylor

Personal background
With a bachelor's degree in Physics and Astrophysics from King's College London,
and a Master's in Radio Astronomy from the University of Manchester's Nuffield
Radio Astronomy Laboratories at Jodrell Bank, I have been interested in all
aspects of space exploration for many years.

Unfortunately I now work in computer support, so SETI@home is the only
opportunity that I can to take part in this sort of thing nowadays.

When not at work I do ballroom dancing and church bell ringing.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that it's very likely that extraterrestrial life exists, but given the
regular major calamities that befall this planet, I'm not at all sure that
it will have had the opportunity to advance much beyond what we have achieved.
