Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If there isn't any other life in the universe than on our own planet,
it would be an awful waste of space, wouldn't it?

But you must remember, the universe is several billion years old... and
we have been listening for 50 or so years. What are the odds some signal will
reach us in this small window of time, and will we be listening at that
exact moment, in the exact direction, on the exact freqency?

I say, its lousy enough odds, but hey, i also play the lottery.
