Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

as for my thoughts on ET intellegence, I figure it's stupid & arrogent of us to assume that we are the only life out there, with the sheer number of Galaxies & solar systems out there if even 1 in every hundred billion planets supported life, you'd still nened scientific notation to figure out the number of life supporting planets in our universe....

as to whether any of them are really advanced, capable of space travel, Ihavn't got a clue, ,I would think that if they weere, they would have better things to do than mutilate cattle and draw circles in wheat. who kinows, maybe most of the planets out there have life, but so far were the most advanced? (god what a scarey thoguht)

and yes I think we should transmit a signel... ask any hisstorian what the cause of the renisance is, he will say comunication, before, weather capable or not, nobody sharted thier Ideas, they were punished if they did. when there started to be a sharing of iformation, and an increase in the level of knowledge (be that knowledge good or bad) it improved the quality of life. why should we stop now?
