Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The question is not "IF" but "WHEN" we find intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. I am honored to help in some small way. I also think that we should be wary in our eagerness to contact other planets. I would like to die knowing that this planet is not the only planet supporting intelligent life. Also, I think that we should be listening for very faint signals spread over a large spectrum of frequencies rather than trying to find a strong signal on one of a few bands. This is how human communications started to eminate from this planet.
