Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe lifeforms do exist outside our own world, the universe is vast and there are many planets capable of wonderful things!
I've noticed there are people that love to ridicule those who believe, I find it difficult not to comment about these mentally challenged persons and hopefully someday there will be a cure for their stubborn "shortsightedness".
Evidence of life will eventually present itself, it may already have.
But are we all privy to the truth?
Perhaps the Seti@home program will provide undeniable proof to the public?

I believe broadcasting a signal will produce an off-world contact someday, but the results may not be realized for several lifetimes.
With technological advancements increasing exponentially, we should also include new technologies for discovering and communicating with inhabited worlds.
The truth is out there, no doubt waiting for our discovery but how people and governing powers handle this truth is yet to be realized.

My personal suggestions concerning Seti@home? The Seti@home program runs effortlessly on my computers. The screensaver is pleasing to watch and the program completes hundreds of work assignments while I'm downloading large torrent files for hours at a time.
I extend my best wishes to those who participate in the Seti@home project, this is a project worthy of attention and deserves our continued support.
Exploration is what has helped evolve and sharpen mankinds knowledge, without exploration we would most likely be painting animals on a cavern wall instead of posting our thoughts online......
