Personal background
I live in Sydney and am studying in uni right now. Experiencing some extended education! Life's tough right now and home is far away in India. I'm a multimedia artist and like to do graphic and web design, although my main interest is in video and animation. Haven't been able to do any professional work since I came to sydney though; been too busy working casual jobs to pay rent! It's given me a chance to explore and experience other types of work, different people, personalities, places, things and living life in general.

I like flying; literally! If only it wasn't so bludy expensive to hire a aircraft I would do it more often too. Come to think of it, I like anything that has a engine on it and goes fast!! So naturally, I love cars, sometime more than women - hey atleast they are predictable! I drive a shiny green Soarer V8 and it is my most prized possession. Also there is a 1976 Datsun 260z, which I am in the process of restoring. Need to put a new block on that motha..

My machine is a AMD athlon xp 1.5ghz, 256mb ddr, 32mb geforce4, 133mhz motherboard and is running windows xp. I'm pretty sure it can go faster, all I need to do is get rid of windows!! heh heh
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
How did it all start?
That is the question I want the answer to. Looking for extraterrestrial life, space flights, science fiction, time travel; its about how it all started and how we happen to be here. Only way to know where we are going from here is to know how it all started.

I am curious to find out about how the universe started. Not theories, but facts. A lot of things will become clear by the answer to just that one question - How did it all begin?

I joined SETI@home because i like the idea of being part of a greater cause. Its interesting how people across the globe can come together and contribute to help carry out such a enormous project, no matter what the outcome, we are all in this as one. All we need, is to be one. A lot of the problems with the world today will seem a lot easier to solve if we think of the world as one place, and not divided by political and sociological barriers.
