I am a computer jockey --- pure and simple.
I live in Montana USA and enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Ruling out extraterrestrial life arbitrarily, in my opinion, is narrow-minded.
I think that when (and that may be quite a long time) life is found outside of Earth, the topics of what will happen can only be speculated.
In the past every encounter has always brought forward benefits and dangers. Ask any Native American.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
