Extraterrestrial life must exist, because I find it hard to believe we're it. ETs may have gone extinct before us, but we should search for remains. There's no telling what we can learn.
Humans should definitely transmit a beacon, if for no other reason than to advertise the fact that we once existed.
I run SETI@home to help the search, in the hope that one day we'll receive such a beacon. |
