| I'm a Hazardous Materials Specialist, volunteer firefighter, and emergency medical technician located in northern Virginia, USA. I work in public safety in Virginia, and I spend my evenings learning about our universe. I have always been a big fan of SETI, and am proud to help further our search for ET. I would be the first to volunteer to go with ET when we find them! I am not a UFO/Area-51 nut, but have always felt that we are not alone... if we were, then it would be a great waste of space. |

| I run SETI@Home because I want to help prove that we are not alone in the universe. I am a huge fan of Carl Segan and Stephen Hawkins. Segan said that it would be more probable that there is life out there somewhere, than it would be for us to be alone. I believe that there is life out there, may not be intelligent or able to travel through space, but it is out there somewhere. If we can find life elsewhere, then we can begin to realize where humanity came from and where it is going. I would be the first to volunteer to go with ET when we find them... |
