Personal background
I like computers, movies and drawing.
My interests in computers are some kind of computer development, programming mostly. I am found of the demoscene (http://www.oldskool.org/demos/explained/), which I try to contribute to.
I like opensource software, the idea behind it and GNU (http://www.gnu.org) is great.

I am one of those.. geeks.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It's a great thing.
Most of my friends say that it is no use, but I don't think so. When the plans for building something which could transport humans by air (airplane) was first introduced, it sounded like it could never be done.
I think this is a beginning for something that could be bigger in the future, but everything does have a start, so I'm just trying to do my part which is running the seti client every night!

I believe aliens have existed, somewere. If they haven't, they will exist at some time after the humans have been extinct. So to be short, they don't have to exist at the same time that we exist, and even if they do they could be really really far away so that we would never be able to travel there in out lifetime. To be short; I doubt they exist but we can never be to sure.

Okey, this was mostly my thoughts about extraterrestrial life in general, but I don't feel like writing more right now! ;-)
