I am convinced that Extraterestrial life exist. I am sure that humans will discover it eventually, but I can't estimate when.I think the benefits/dangers theme is too large for my analysing capacity.
Yeah I think humans should send a beacon, and i consider that broadcasting is the best way to transmit it. I'm not sure about what should the message contain but it should be something very easy to decypher, something that could be understood no matter the cultural background.
Why do I run Seti? Because i believe in this program. Even if I know that the chances to find something are very slim,they are greater than 0 :). Besides I believe in the side benefits of the project.
(Btw, the movie CONTACT made u the best publicity ever guys.)
