Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run seti@home because I believe that even if we find nothing, it is the search and the science which matters, but how can the universe be so big and there be no-one but us, what a tremendous waste of energy and space that would be.
The project has obviously brought improvements in radio frequency clean up and has allowed many people to feel as if they are part of scientific progress. people like me with no great scientific experience get chance to hepl by lending a little of out time.

I think it would be good if not only receiving technical updates via the page, maybe science updates, maybe notification if something interesting shows up even if it turns out to be nothing or just a data error, it would be nice.
Also a searchable list of locations searched by the coordinates in the sky would be good.
