My family and I live in Sarasota, FL. We've lived or worked all around the country and can't imagine why anyone would choose to live anywhere but the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
Because I believe in the project, and it makes the more "anal" parts of my brain feel good that this box on my desk is doing something useful. I love what the project is attempting to accomplish. I hope funding will be made available to take the project to a larger scale.

I think that anything we can do to expand our horizons is worthwile.
Thoughts about ETI
How far away are they? Do they already know about us? Will they give us a chance? Do they hate the Dallas Cowboys too? Will they forgive us for "cop rock" and do they think the "x files" is as cheezy as we do?
