Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because finding another civilization in the universe would prove that science is better than blind faith in explaining the facts we can observe.
I think mankind needs one world government and that the budgets for military projects were to be devoted to space exploration. I believe that SETI efforts will educate the masses and possibly open a door to a new understanding of our place in the galaxy.
Suggestions? How about annual awards to regular contributors to help publicise our efforts?
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
