I'm 49 years old, and live in Vancouver Canada. I'm a contract integration engineer working with SeeBeyond's e*Gate development suite. Most recently, I've worked at Nike World Headquarters in the Global Trade Group.
I'm married to the best person I've ever known... my wife Cora. We have identicle twin boys, who are working hard towards their black belts in Tae-Kwon-Do. When I watch them practicing their patterns together, I feel so proud of them. My hobbies include jogging, reading, history, and learning... oh yes, I like to party with my friends too. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I've always believed that life won't be limited to Earth alone... in a universe teeming with galaxies, each containing billions of stars, the odds are in favour of life. I donate every spare CPU cycle to SETI, so that I am contributing to the most important undertaking of modern times... finding intelligent life on other worlds, and then making contact.
When we find life on other worlds it will be a life changing experience for us all. We will know without doubt that we are not alone, and the universe is life friendly. We will be changed in ways we cannot predict or imagine. It will finally and completely put to rest the strange notion that mankind is the center of creation. More likely, we are merely one of a family of beings who share the universe, and God (if there is one). It may be the only truth that can bring all human beings together as a family. Keep up the good work SETI... Carl would be proud. |
