1. Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
Yup.
2. If so, when and how will humans discover it?
Probably when the ET's want us to know. :)
3. What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
Could provide technological breakthroughs. Could provide widespread panic.
4. Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Perhaps...just home who ever answers it is nice...
5. If so, what information should we send?
Good question...
6. Why do you run SETI@home?
Because its an interesting and productive use of machines that would otherwise be idle. They're on, might as well use 'em!
