My Name is Laurent Duquette
I am from Dowling, Ont. Canada
I am an electrician, I mostly work underground in precious metal mines
My favorite hobby is snowmobiling, I enjoy the winters and I wish it was a little longer so that I may do more snowmobiling.
I also build and fix computers in my spare time
I also like to play guitar (I suck at it,but it's fun)

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I've been running Seti since october 1999, and do so because I want to be there when we discover an alien signal. I beleive that this universe is too big for just us.
My only concern is why is Seti just looking at frequencies of 1.42.....GHZ which I beleive is the frequency of hydrogen. I find this odd that we would be looking in this range. I beleive we should be looking in the range that we are transmitting at, but I am not a scientist so i am not sure of my reasoning.
