Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1: Other life dose exist out there, whether in this galaxy or anther, we would be naive to think we are the only one's out here in such a vast expanse. So many billions of planets, there can not be only us. but are we, as hole ready to meet them, I think not, for they have been here, and keep watch, for a time that we may be ready, with an open mind, and good hearts, without war like tendencies to that witch we do not know or do not understand. And when that time comes, we will have such knowledge to bring the human race ahead, like never before, some of it will be good & some bad. 2: our hole planet it a beacon, but there technologies may be so different that they are unable to hear, time will only tell. 3:I run seti because I know they are there, why not be a part of a team that may or may not be ready to meet them, this may just be the way to open some people's minds, who knows only time will tell, and may we all be open to it when we do :-)
