Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think life exhists, its invetiable that it does exhist, given the magnitude and vastness of our universe. Light has not even reached us from near the rim of the universe, and given its speed, this should indicate that we are not alone, be sentient life or single celled organisms.

I don't think Seti@home is going to find it, but it is a fun project. A radio signal even as close as our nearest star other than our sun, alpha centari would be incredibly weak upon reaching us even from 2 light years away.
