I'm an Information Support Specialist (i.e, sysadmin) for the Department of Cell Biology here at UAB. Happily married with a brand-new baby girl, Sophie, born 3/17/06. That's right, St. Patrick's Day. If only we were Irish....
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

I used to run SETI@home back when it first started; in fact; I founded the UAB "team." I sort of forgot about it for a while, but now that I have three dual-processor computers within arm's reach of my chair, I figured I should start looking for ET again...
