| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think The seti@home program is Great, I have a network of 4 computers at hoem and have always left them running pretty much all the time. This is a great way to add benefit to all with very little cost. My wife runs a retail computer store and has 1 of her computers on display running the program as well. Customers ask what it is about and seem impressed by the progam as well. ET is out there but I think we won't discover it in necessarily the expected ways. Just like we become accustomed to the background noise at home or work, we really do not notice how much there really is there until it is all taken away. ET is probably hiding in the noise, so we need to be ever curious about even the minute detail. |
