I currently reside on the central coast of California, in Soquel (Santa Cruz area),
with my wife (of 22 years) and my son (of 16 years).
I'm employed as a Solaris Systems Administrator, where I tend to web servers
and SilverStream servers internal to a large "Silicon Valley" company.
In my leasure time (is there such a thing?) I enjoy Video Games
(currently playing Secret Weapons over Normandy 3 on a PS2, and Metroid Prime
on the GameCube), and all things Sci-fi (especially Star Wars and
Star Trek, SG1, etc. And yes, a person can be loyal to
both SW and ST without being schizophrenic). :-)
I also enjoy spending time at our cabin, flying and skiing, but don't get to nearly as often as
I'd like. Why they make those things so expensive is beyond me. :-) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Whether or not there is any ET remains to be seen. I'm involved with SETI@home because I
wanted to be a part of the largest parallel processing effort that the world
has ever seen. With that I'm enjoying my new hobby of tending to the team that
I founded. It has given me a chance to "meet" some great people from around
the world.
