Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I believe that there MUST be some(low-level,bacterial etc., is 200% but "inteligent" too)life, there is VERY low probability that in such big BIG big place like universe is ,is life only on our little planete in our little galaxy. It`s something like in Middle Age that poeple thought that Earth is centre of the everything.
Benefits:I think a lot if they come to us,that mean they have a very nice technology and maybe they share its to us -IF- they dont want "take" our world.
Dangers:see -IF- above or if they`ll be friendly then there`s another problem:
Earth is not united in some alliance etc.that means that goverment of few maybe strongest country will "fight"(not war but...)to whom alien give it`s technology and that may result to change alien`s mind of us and who know what happen.

2.Maybe yes but I think it`s little complicated but why not to try it?

3.Because i`m interesting in these things and I hope that we find something maybe not today, this year but one time surely;when not then our search was bad and we must begin new searching or change our methods.
