Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
To me it is inconsequential whether E.T. exists. I assume they do, but knowledge of the fact will have no real impact on terrestrial life. If a beacon is transmitted it should contain some information that it is from an intellegent source (assuming that is the case), some "Ren and Stimpy" cartooons, and Bjork's "Pluto". Or, mabye we should just keep quiet.
