Profile: Ewoud Vos

Personal background
Greetings to everybody who reads this. My name is Ewoud and I'm from the Netherlands. I live in Peize, that's a very little town near Groningen, a city located in the North of the Netherlands. I'm 16 years old, so I'm still a student. I've got a lot of hobbies: playing basketball, surfing on the internet, playing computergames, playing darts and last but not least playing tennis in the summer.
I've heard from this project by school (how surprising:)). I read about it and a few days later I downloaded the program. I run it at already three computers now!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, I think extraterrestrial life exists. I don't think humanity will discover it before I'm gone, but you never now. Maybe will we meet Aliens in heaven! The benefits are, we can learn a lot of our extraterrestrial friends. There also will be dangers ofcourse, but we've got danger now too so that shouldn't be a problem.
2. Yes, I think we should. I think most important is to send ET our position in the galaxy. Ofcourse we'll have to say some things over humanity and our earth too.
3. I run SETI@home, because I think it is an interresting project, that can really help in our search for extraterrestrial intelligance. I think the program could have some more options, so you can optimize the program for your computer. The program also should be a little handier with multiple users with Windows XP.
