The name is Maikel, and I live in the south of the Netherlands.
I'm an active citizen scientist for Old Weather and Naval History.
For the latter I've created Journey Plotter, a program to visualize the journeys of Royal Navy ships from the World War 1 era and United States ships on Arctic voyages since mid-19th century, as transcribed by the Old Weather project and edited by the Naval History project. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Will there be SETI? I really don't know.
But if it's out there, I suspect they will try leaving this self-destructing species inhabiting earth ignorant of it.
However, I'm participating in SETI@home because I'm very curious if there is SETI out there. |
