My hubby and I now live in Martin, Georgia (with our 4 insane cats!)
We are both Ham Radio Operators. My call is kg4ugo, my hubby is n4ukk.
I am a geek who works in the telecommunications industry. I used to be in the dreaded customer service end of it - but have recently moved up into the technical end of it. (YAY!)
I am rapidly heading towards 40 - but still don't (usually) feel or look it.
I enjoy XM radio in my car and at home. I am a regular attendee of Dragon*Con and love many things Sci-Fi like Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek - OK, I could go on for paragraphs here - but the best way to find out about me is to go to my LiveJournal page. |

I love the idea of looking for "E.T."
I think that it would be rather bold and arrogant of us to think we are alone in something as large as our own galaxy, let alone the entire universe!
I would hope that we as a planet would be "ready" and mature enough for contact with other worlds... but I have a feeling we have not made it there yet. I would also hope that anyone keen on contacting us would be of a benevolent sort, and not intent on planetary conquest!
