Profile: Norm Munroe

Personal background
Norm I work for the CPR as a Locomotive Engineer & have been there for a while at night I am looking up to the sky wondering where my computer is checking today & what it will hear.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that other life exists but finding it will be very difficult. The sky is large & we can only tap into a small part of it. We have been transmitting radio becons for since the first radio transmission so if anyone is listening out there may be they will here us. I am a member of Seti simply because this project could use all the help it can get & there is no other way to process this much data. My computer is just sitting most of the time & to use it for a project like this is great. And who noes maybe I will find somthing. Now wouldn\\'t that be a hoot.
