Update 01/18: almost 20 years now and still searching :-)

Almost 6 years now.

My first Seti program on an old Sun box. Then slowly "rolling them out" to other workstations and servers. Hey, I was a sys admin, so I had to "test" all that spare CPU time, right?! ;-)
Aha, some new PCs! Lets give them a try.

And over the years more and more units got crunched on a variety of computers. Sometimes nothing for 6 months. Forgotten about Seti. Moving on to different jobs, different lives.

Now running around on this planet as a freelance actor and still doing the odd IT job (to make some money ;-). Right now, sitting at the customer's office behind a very nice laptop with a 3Ghz Pentium. Hmmm, let's get the latest BOINC/Seti client and see how fast it is...
