I'm currently (10/04) a student at the University of Denver (state of Colorado, USA) going for computer engineering and MBA degrees. I hope to find a job as a computer game programmer who helps make games that I would enjoy playing myself.
As a side note, not too long ago my publicist stormed off amid a wave of allegations concerning improper winshield wiper usage, so I was forced, for a time, to take on a trained waffle iron to do my photo shoots. The above picture was the eventual result. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I justify keeping my computer on all the time (and the resulting energy useage) by reminding myself that I hardly ever drive, I don't watch TV, and I turn off the lights when I leave a room. I'm all for assisting scientific research in ways that require absolutely no effort on my part, and BOINC gives me great ROI in that respect. Plus, it's nice to feel associated with programmers and scientists who are doing work that benefits the public good, rather than a company's bottom line. |
