Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
We are currently in the golden age of mankind. The discovery and subsequent contact with extraterrestrial life will ultimately spell doom for the human race and its cultures. Unless we strike first. The first contact we make with aliens should not be a copy of the human genome, which could be used in an unimaginable weapon against us; it should be the detonation end of a nuclear warhead. We MUST protect ourselves!!!
