Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think extraterrestrial life exits. The Universe is big, because of that the probability is high that a Planet system like ours exits, anywhere in this Universe. I think to answer the second Question, about the discover of extraterrrestrial life, it's important that you specifie for what exatcly you search. When you serach Bacterias or the remnants of them, then i think it's possible that we find some one, presupposed we can explore other planets. When you search for intelligent extraterrestrial life, then i think the probability to discover some life it's small. The benefits when we find extraterrestrial life, is that we can studdy it's und possible we learn more about our existence. The dangers, it's possible that we found more that we want, normaly in the Law of the Universe, the stronger survive or to through-add itself.

2. It's a good Question. Is it useful to transmit a beacon out in the Universe or is it stupidity do this? I belive the Universe is to big, that anywone discover our beacon. What kind of information we will send is not importent, we must find a signal that is unique.

3. I running Seti@home because i think it's a good Idee to search for extraterrestrial life.
