I´m from Sweden and I´m 40 years old. I´ve been around computers since I got my first C64 =), come to think about it I also used to have an Vic20. Hobbies are Computer´s, my Volvo Amazon 122S and all of my friends on the web and in reallife. Don´t think I can call my wife and 2 kids a hobbie so I´ll mention them here in this sentence ;) I´ve been working at Volvo Car Company in Gothenburg Sweden since 94´where i started working on the assemblyline but since 98´ Ive been working with measuring machines in different makes and sizes(LK - CMM, Leica - Lasertracker , Metronor - Laserled Camera system).
I usualy use my computers for gaming and IRC chats but also for Crunching Seti packet =) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I cant see why we should be alone in the universe but I dont think we´re there yet to be able to contact anyone. but who knows in a couple of years we might. The real progress and development has been in the last 50 years as I see it.
2. Why not? don´t know what kind of information we should send but a "beacon" that sends out signals in a way we try to listen now would be a good idea.
