Profile: BBR - USS MISSOURI

Personal background
I'm a 41 year old space nut from the beginning. I remember watching Mercury, Gemini, and the Apollo missions as a young boy, and was fascinated by what would be found when we got there. I'm an avid supporter of NASA, and spend some free time peering into the night sky. As I look to the stars, I often wonder if there's someoneout there peering back and wondering the same thing I am ... where are you?

In my other life, you know, reality, I've worked for the Court system for almost 20 years now. After what I've seen there, it's only natural that I'd be looking for intelligent life off this planet, for I sometimes wonder whether there is any intelligent life HERE.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Simply put, the universe is too vast, and the possible permutations of planets, stars, and arrangements for life are too infinite for this little blue ball to hold the only lifeforms in the universe.

Should we look for them? Of course! Think of all we could learn from them, or teach to them, depending on their stage of development. Think of all that we could learn about ourselves in the process.

How did I start doing this. TEAM DSL Reports, the A-number-one Seti crunching team, of course! When you join, you become part of a family. Everyone takes care of everyone, supports them, answers their questions, and otherwise makes you welcome. The greatest folk I've ever had the occasion to spend time with, on or off line.
