Personal background
Lorenzo Benaglia works in the IT area as developer, trainer and DBA since 1995 although this passion started 10 years before thanks to a MSX computer purchase.
Noticeable companies and credit institutes as EniData, EniChem, Snam, GE Information Services, Beiersdorf, Omnitel, Etnoteam, Comit and Credito Italiano saw him involved as developer for over 5 years.
Moreover he taught Visual Basic and SQL Server in many Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center. He works as DBA and developer for
Il Sole 24 Ore S.p.A since 2000.
In 1998 he got MCP and MCSD certifications, in 1999 MCT, in 2002 MCAD and in 2003 MCSD for Microsoft .NET. In the same year he was awarded SQL Server MVP.
In 2006 he got MCTS: SQL Server 2005, MCITP: Database Administrator and MCITP: Database Developer.
During these years he always tried to dedicate some time to newsgroups; through them he could improve his knowledge and meet several IT professionals.
