Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I know there is life out there, its just almost impossible for there not to be. I am just helping out since my computer is on 24/7 so there for i can justify my using all that electricity :D. I like to be part of these projects, i run climateprediction and a few others 24/7 (except when gaming). Its nice to add my bit to the world and the lives of these poeple who run this, esspcilly if it finds a radio signel, cure for caner or model or climate prediction. And seeing as i have an AMD64 3400+ along with 2 otehr smaller servers which are for the company dabase etc, i feel i can add a bit more then just a few hours a week.

I think the people who make Boinc and other such projects like grid etc, should get in contact with all the schools around the world. My school is in a projects to crack a 64bit CIA message as we have alot of comptuers at school and it runs in the background, doesnt effect our use at all. I think all schools should do this since the workstations have this power to do this in the background. I am trying to get the technition to change it to something more worthwile like seti or cancer reasearch though.
