Hi all, I'm 53 yrs. of age and have A 5 year old daughter named Shyann and lovely wife Ellisa. I'm A Ham radio operator (KO4VP) and gold prospector. I currently live in Florida where it makes it dificult to go prospecting without it having to be A large planned trip. I own 5 acres of property in central Colorado to which I hope to relocate to in A few yrs. where I can prospect at my leisure. The property is at 7500' above sea level which means it should be great for ham radio as well. I like most of us donating our processing time to SETI believe there is inteligent life out there, and I am honored to be A part of the search! Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Absolutly!! The truth will have many consiquences when it comes to religous beliefs, however it will be for the best because humans will finally realise that we are not alone and we now have to watch our universal P's and Q's.We as volunteers will find the signal and prove the gov't wrong! We should send A beacon signal with A greating to all! Stateing that we wish to join the intersteller community! I run SETI at home because the government has chosen to not fund the search anymore on the grounds the the project was not financily viable. This leads me to believe that they know the life is out there and don't want us to know just like the UFO's. They're affraid that society will not be able to handle the truth! I feel we must undertake the search ourselves because the truth is to important to hide or be left undiscovered! I feel as soon as it is financially posible we need to start the SETI at home project on searching in the lightwave spectrom for signals because it is most likely that highly advanced civilizations would be using the more stable and efficient forms of communications that can be achieved by using lasers and other forms of light beams. I will crunch data for SETI as long as the project is alive, which I hope lasts untill the truth is known!!
