I was born in Belgium in 1975 and have finished my degree in Chemistry in 1998.
I have lived in Dublin for a while (while working for the Irish governement) but I now live back in Belgium and do research on polymers.
My hobbies are mainly Capoeira (which is a Brazilian martial art) and reading.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am absolutely certain there is intelligent lfe in the universe somewhere (haven't found it on earth though ;-) )
It would be seer arrogancy to claim we are the only intelligent beings that exist. Statistically that would be impossible...
Anyway, if tare intelligent enough to come he, they would also be intelligent enough to observe us from great distances and know they shouldn't bother with this war-engulfed piece of rock...
