I think something exists somewhere. I don't know if that means we will find single celled organisms or intellegent life. I just think that we can not be so naive to think only 1 planet in the entire universe had the ideal conditions to form life.
Seti at home gives everyone an opportunity to help, and I believe that if we will find something its through a method such as seti or something similar
